Joyful Sound Audiology Verified listing

I am Juliana Seiler, a clinical audiologist and the owner of Joyful Sound Audiology, a private practice based in Salt Rock, Ballito. My journey into audiology was driven by a deep curiosity about how hearing connects us — not just to sound, but to people, purpose, and quality of life.

Over the years, I have worked with patients across the lifespan, but my passion lies particularly in supporting adults and older individuals as they navigate hearing changes. Hearing loss can be subtle at first, often creeping in quietly and affecting confidence, relationships, balance, and even cognitive wellbeing. I believe strongly that early identification and personalised intervention can make an extraordinary difference.

At Joyful Sound Audiology, my approach is centred on individualised care. No two ears — and no two lives — are the same. I take the time to understand each client’s listening needs, lifestyle, and concerns before recommending solutions. This may include comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings tailored to both hearing loss and budget, management of tinnitus, or guidance around auditory processing difficulties.

What sets my practice apart is the emphasis on education and empowerment. I want my patients to understand their hearing, feel confident in their choices, and be active participants in their care. I strive to create a space that feels calm, respectful, and welcoming — a place where questions are encouraged and progress is celebrated.

Joyful Sound Audiology was created with the belief that better hearing leads to richer conversations, stronger connections, and more joyful living. It is a privilege to walk alongside my patients as they reconnect with the sounds that matter most.
